Hi, I’m Julie.
I'm a wife of over 25 years, a mom, a former co-founder and executive who spent two decades building a successful business. I am also a woman who found herself, like so many others, standing in the middle of a life transition she didn’t see coming.
After stepping away from a long career, moving from a home I loved, and navigating the layered realities of family, aging parents, identity shifts, and mental health, I realized something important: so much of life happens in the middle. The middle seasons. The middle years. The middle of uncertainty, growth, grief, and quiet rebuilding.
My writing lives there.
On this blog, I share honest reflections about midlife, motherhood, marriage, caregiving, work, and what it looks like to redefine yourself when the old labels no longer fit. Sometimes it’s thoughtful. Sometimes it’s messy. Often it’s hopeful. Always it’s real.
If you’re someone who’s trying to hold it all together while also trying not to lose yourself, you’re in the right place. This is a space for connection, clarity, and the reminder that you don’t have to have it all figured out to be moving forward.
Welcome, I’m really glad you’re here.
- Julie
